Boating, Fishing, and Travel Information for South Fork, St. Lucie River, FL

The St. Lucie River is located in both St. Lucie and Martin Counties, FL, meeting with the ocean along the Treasure Coast. It is part of the larger Indian River Lagoon system which is home to more than 4,000 plant and animal species, making it the most diverse estuarine environment in North America. The South Fork was once called Halpatiokee River and joins the North Fork just south of Roosevelt Bridge in Stuart.
