Marine Forecast
Synopsis: High pressure over the region will keep winds and seas light. A weak frontal boundary will stall to our north tonight into Wednesday, with a more west to southwest flow developing over the waters. This will bring increasing showers and thunderstorms tonight and Wednesday morning that will then move inland through the rest of the day. The front will dissipate through the end of the week as a more southeast flow develops across the area, though the afternoon sea breeze will still turn winds onshore each day. This change in pattern will favor thunderstorms moving offshore each late evening, so mariners should be extra aware if venturing out later in the day.
This Afternoon
SSE wind around 6 kt becoming SW. Mostly sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.
Tonight
WNW wind 5 to 8 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt. Isolated showers and thunderstorms between 11pm and 2am. Seas 1 ft or less.
