Synopsis: An area of low pressure will remain nearly stationary east of the Carolinas through tonight, then move further to the northeast Tuesday, as high pressure builds to the west. The high will build overhead on Wednesday, then to the northeast Wednesday night into Thursday. A low pressure system will track east toward the region late in the week, and affect the region Thursday night into Saturday.
